Details

How our cooling work is handled.

Comfort depends on sizing and airflow

A cooling system that is too large short-cycles, runs loud, and leaves humidity behind. A system that is too small never catches up. We review load, ductwork, refrigerant lines, electrical, and airflow before selecting equipment.

  • Load calculation and equipment matching
  • Ductwork, return air, and static pressure review
  • Humidity, zoning, and thermostat planning

Installed for efficiency and long equipment life

Clean refrigeration work is the difference between a system that lasts and one that becomes a repeat service call. We pressure test, evacuate, charge to manufacturer specifications, and verify performance at startup.

  • Line-set sizing, brazing, nitrogen purge, and pressure testing
  • Deep vacuum and refrigerant charge verification
  • Condensate, pad, disconnect, and startup checks
Process

What to expect from first call to final walkthrough.

01

Evaluate

We inspect the existing condenser, coil, ductwork, line set, electrical, and problem rooms.

02

Design

We recommend central AC, ductless, or heat pump options based on comfort goals and budget.

03

Install

Equipment, refrigerant lines, drains, controls, and electrical connections are installed cleanly.

04

Commission

We test charge, temperatures, drains, airflow, controls, and explain maintenance needs.

FAQ

Common questions.

When should I replace versus repair my AC?

If your system is 12+ years old, uses R-22 refrigerant, or needs a compressor or coil, replacement usually wins on cost and reliability. We'll give you both numbers honestly.

Can I add AC without ductwork?

Yes — ductless mini-splits add efficient cooling (and heating) to additions, top floors, and older homes where adding ducts is impractical.

How long does a central AC install take?

A straight changeout is usually completed in one day. New systems with line-set runs or electrical upgrades may take 1–2 days.

Do you service commercial rooftop AC?

Yes — see our Commercial HVAC page for rooftop units, split systems, and chillers.
